Each year we give toys to assist over 500 families in having a nice Christmas for their children.  Most of these families could not give their children toys without our help.

We need your help in collecting toys so that we can be sure we can assist these families.  If you'd like to help, please donate an unwrapped new toy.  Batteries are needed also.

Because Every Child Should Have a Gift on Christmas Morning

The Salvation Army provides Christmas gifts for over 1,000 local children whose families can't afford it.  You can help.  There are angel trees with gift suggestions at many local businesses, including Northfield Mall, Wal-Mart (Bradley and Kankakee), and Bakers Square.  Just buy a gift and return it, unwrapped, to these locations, or to The Salvation Army at 148 N Harrison in Kankakee.  Or you can check back for suggestions for gifts that we will need this year.  Happy shopping!

Thank you and God bless you.
